A very nice place to eat. The meals are a decent feed with a good range of options to cater to most tastes. This place is more than just a restaurant, it offers a deli, fresh produce, honey and other locally made/sourced products, a bar service and an all round enjoyable environment. The staff are friendly and pleasant which is exactly what you need during peak lunch rushes. Make sure you get your menu orders in before 2:30pm as the kitchen starts to close up, alternatively you can still select any one of their delicious pastries.
Excellent spot for a break from driving when driving towards Port Macquarie or Coffs Harbour especially if you don't want to head into Newcastle for one. Nice and spacious layout with indoor and outdoor seating - with a great view of the rolling hills in the background and plenty of parking. Very good food and drink options. It's kid and pet-friendly too.
Glad to have found this spot. Great for healthy snacks, meals and breakfast. I love the layout of this place, it is so spacious and well thawed out. There are a few leather lounges just to chill out with the family overlooking beautiful farmland in Nabiac clean toilets and very friendly staff. The coffee I had this morning was amazing, the brisket pie that I had was sensational and to top it off the brownie was perhaps the best I’ve ever had, you can tell that they put a lot of effort into keeping this place up to standard. The kitchen is clean and the staff look to be very efficient. There is even a butcher and they sell a serving of small goods, fruit and vegetables as well as seedlings. They have a liquor license. If you’re not a local and travelling past this place, do yourself a favour and pop in.
Stopped here on my way past during a road trip, because I was told that the pies are excellent. I love pies, and I particularly love excellent pies.
I bought a wagyu brisket pie and a cup of coffee, and it turned out that the rumours were true. The pie WAS excellent. The coffee was also good. But the pie was really top notch - well worth the stop-off.
I would add that service was quick and friendly, and there was plenty of parking in the huge parking lot that surrounds the venue. Clearly, this place has decided to position itself to be a highway stop-off point where travellers, including travelling families, can rest and refresh on a long trip. It is ideal in this regard - large, clean, and child-friendly, and such of the food as I had was excellent.
My understanding is that this is a card-only venue (no cash), so bear that in mind if you do not have a credit or debit card.
My husband and I were so happy to come across this place. He had chicken burger and I had a curry chicken pie with a beautiful Greek salad to share. The salad was served with pine nuts on top which was an issue for me as I have nut allergy. However, the staff were very happy to swap our salad to one without pine nuts instantly.
The outdoor area is so lovely. Very child and dog friendly. Farm chickens roam the outdoor area and kids have a place to play. There is also local produce inside which you can buy fresh veggies, homemade oils, pasta, honey etc. I’d come here for date nights if it wasn’t just a pitstop for our travels.
Build it and they shall come.
This place is amazing with a great range of delicious good but also has a butcher, baker, cheesery, coffee and a bar.
We've had a pie before which was amazing, but this time we had salmon poke bowl and a Korean chook sandwich with a side of chups. Yumo!!!
What a venue. Congrats Mr Doyle. Better than the Farm in Byron. Best Mille Feuille and crème caramel I have ever had ! The Chefs are fantastic as all food selections are really good! Coffee great. Produce fantastic. Nice art. I purchased a lot. Breakfast delicious. Great area /playground/ farm. Will always stop here. Thank you
Very big portions and we loved the healthy variety options available. Very spacious, clean and good atmosphere.
